ENI, First E&P, Awarded Blocks in Bid Round

Italian operator ENI(70%) and its partner Vitol (30%) have been awarded rights to Block WB03, located in the medium deep waters of the prolific Tano Basin, offshore Ghana. The Nigerian independent First E&P was awarded rights to WB02, in the vicinity. The two blocks are part of the five available in the country's ongoing bid round. The next stage is for the companies to negotiate the terms of the Petroleum Agreement with Government.
