马来西亚在埃及的油气投资达到90亿美元

据阿拉伯财经10月28日报道称，马来西亚驻开罗大使周三表示，马来西亚在埃及石油和天然气领域的投资目前价值约90亿美元。

他在8年来首个马来西亚经济代表团访问埃及期间发表了该讲话。代表团出席了在开罗举行的马埃商业论坛。

在地中海地区取得一系列重大发现之后，埃及计划成为液化天然气贸易的区域枢纽，并到 2018年底前实现天然气自给自足。

Malaysian oil, gas investments in Egypt hit $9bln

Malaysian investments in Egypt’s oil and gas sector are currently worth around $9 billion, said Malaysia’s ambassador to Cairo,on Wednesday.

He made his remarks during the visit of the first Malaysian economic delegation to Egypt in more than 8 years. The delegation attended the Malaysian-Egyptian Business Forum in Cairo.

Egypt plans to become a regional hub for the trade of liquefied natural gas after a string of major discoveries in the Mediterranean, making the country self-sufficient in gas by the end of 2018.
