以色列利维坦气田将于12月首次生产天然气

该项目的运营商诺布尔能源周四表示，利维坦开发项目已完成96%，并提醒称，生产甲板已于第三季度安装在地中海的导管架上。

Leviathan field set for first gas in December

Israel’s giant Leviathan gas field is set to start producing gas in December 2019, as the construction works align="justify">Noble Energy, the operator of the project, said Thursday that the Leviathan development was 96 percent complete and reminded that the production decks were installed align="justify">According to Noble Energy, delivery of the Leviathan project – dubbed Israel’s largest energy project – is ahead of schedule and below budget.

Noble also said that total gross capital for the project has been reduced by $150 million to $3.6 billion. The oil and gas firm also shared that it had completed the acquisition of an interest in the EMG pipeline in early November.

The EMG pipeline is a gas pipeline linking Israel and Egypt, which will serve as a transport route for gas from Israel’s Tamar and Leviathan offshore gas fields to Egypt.

Noble align="justify">Revenues for the quarter were $1,1 billion, down from $1,27 billion a year ago.

Total sales volumes for the quarter averaged 385 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBoe/d), an increase of 12% from the third quarter of 2018.
