位于荷兰的海上石油和天然气服务提供商SBM offshore 公司Fast4Ward项目的第一艘船体已经抵达新加坡吉宝船厂。

SBM Offshore has first multi-purpose floater arrives in Singapore

Dutch-based offshore oil and gas services provider SBM Offshore’s first Fast4Ward hull has arrived at the Keppel yard in Singapore.

The multi-purpose floater (MPF1) completed a 2,300nm (4,260km) journey.

SBM Offshore said the generic hull brings it closer to delivering the first standardised floating production storage and offloading (FPSO).

The shipbuilding yard completed the hull last month as part of SBM Offshore’s Fast4Ward programme.

In May, the MPF1 hull was allocated to the FPSO Liza Unity, following final investment decision (FID) by industry majors ExxonMobil, Hess for Liza Phase 2 project offshore Guyana.

SBM Offshore has four more MPFs in the construction phase in two yards in China. These are MPF2, MPF3, MPFA, and MPFB.

The company designed the FPSO to produce 220,000bpd of oil. This allows it to produce an associated gas treatment capacity of 400MMcf/d and a water injection capacity of 250,000bpd.

It has a capacity to store around 2MMbbl of crude oil. SBM Offshore will spread the vessel across at a water depth of 1,600m.

SBM Offshore said: “The Liza Unity FPSO design is based align="justify">“Basic design approval has been given by both Bureau Veritas and ABS.”

The Liza Unity serves as the second FPSO for the Liza field development in the Stabroek Block, which is approximately 200km offshore Guyana.

In November, SBM Offshore secured a contract to provide front end engineering and design (FEED) for an FPSO which is for the Payara development project in the Stabroek block.
