2020年赤道几内亚石油产量最高将增加3万桶/日

据道琼斯1月15日消息，赤道几内亚政府周三表示，将在2020年增加新发现油井的石油产量。

赤道几内亚矿业和碳氢化合物部长Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima在一份声明中表示：“今年我们预计将把石油产量提高每天2万至3万桶。”

这意味着赤道几内亚的石油日产量将从目前的每天14万桶增加到17万桶左右。

近10年来，由于油井日趋成熟，这个依赖石油的国家一直面临着产量下降的问题。如今，该国已为其沉积盆地的勘探提供了27个免费区块。政府本周早些时候表示，这轮授权招标吸引了53家公司的兴趣，最终收到17份标书。

Equatorial Guinea to Raise 2020 Crude Oil Output by Up to 30,000 B/D

The government of Equatorial Guinea said Wednesday it will swell its oil output in 2020 from newly discovered oil wells.

"This year, we expect to increase our oil production between 20,000 and 30,000 barrels per day," the Central African government's Mines and Hydrocarbons Minister Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima said in a statement.

The increase means Equatorial Guinea's daily oil production will rise to around 170,000 barrels a day, up from a current 140,000 barrels of crude per day.

Having faced weak production for nearly a decade due to mature wells, the oil-dependent nation has offered 27 free blocks for exploration across its sedimentary basins. The licensing round generated interest from 53 companies and resulted in 17 bids, the government said earlier this week.

Last month, the government of Equatorial Guinea announced that it was in discussion with foreign investors to invest about $1.4 billion in downstream and upstream sectors of the country's oil and gas industry.
